In my next life

I want to come back as an Ethopian person living in America. My buddy Fasil at work is the former Ethopian national lightweight boxing champion. He is famous in his home country. This, added on to the fact that Ethopians can apparently scan a crowd and pick out their fellow countrymen from about 500 yards, means that whenever I travel with Fasil, we make friends. And by friends, I mean that we get free stuff. Hotel upgrades, free ice cream at the airport, taxi rides...the whole shebang. The free stuff is nice, don't get me wrong, but that isn't actually why I want to be Ethopian. Mostly it's just a really nice and interesting thing how there is such a community among a pretty small group of people, even when they are all spread out. Fasil never feels alone when he travels, as there is always "family" nearby. And free ice cream.
