Me Too Dude, Me Too...

Random

1) I really wanted to become a foot fetish model until I learned that it only pays $20 a shoot.

2) I saw a license plate holder today that said "Clean since 1996 thanks to God and NA". Isn't the point of NA that it's supposed to be anonymous? And do you really want the entire world to know that you used to be a junky?

3) I leave Thursday for D.C. for National Finals. The blog after I returned from that trip last year was entitled "worst work trip ever". Needless to say, I am not really looking forward to this year.

4) I saw David Sedaris last night. If you haven't read any of his books, you should do so immediately. He is brilliant and hilarious.

5) I wonder if having the words "foot fetish" in this blog is going to do the same thing that "semen" did and get me really random comments.

Pirates!!!

My pirate name is:
Iron Jenny Flint
A pirate's life isn't easy; it takes a tough person. That's okay with you, though, since you a tough person. Like the rock flint, you're hard and sharp. But, also like flint, you're easily chipped, and sparky. Arr!

My Baby Brother Got Married!

How cute are they? The wedding was the most fun ever (well, not quite as much fun as mine or OC's, but really really fun anyways!). We flew into San Antonio on Friday and drove straight to the rehearsal dinner, dressing in the car on the way. Saturday we got ready and headed over to the wedding location, a beautiful mansion out in the country for pictures and drinking. The wedding was beautiful and very short. The reception was the traditional eating, drinking, dancing affair, with great food, some theme drinks and wild and crazy fun all around. I got drunk. On Sunday, we had breakfast with the newlyweds and sent them off to Jamaica. Then me and Dyl, mom and Phil, Ian, Francis and Dorothy and Seth and Misty all went to San Antonio and hung out on the River Walk. We had great Mexican food and listened to Mariachi music (which Dylan LOVES). We saw the Alamo, but couldn't go inside because it was closed. It's not out in an open field like it looks in the movies...it is right smack dab in the middle of downtown. Overall, it was a great trip. Now we just have to get Ian married off...

Urgh

I took a second job. I am now a campaign coordinator on the Alex Padilla for State Senate Campaign. It pays crap, but it pays more than the couch-sitting I usually do after work.

We leave tomorrow for Seth's wedding in Texas. Yee Haw.

I still haven't gotten my promotion at work or heard about the transfer. Boo.

I think I will have a bowl of Raisin Bran now.
